Next is my friend Rowan SilverWolf. As I recall, she and I began talking
in a crowded America Online chat room. We have talked a number of times
since. Rowan is a wonderful person who has an extremely interesting Web
site. I recommend that anyone interested in earth-oriented religions (including
Wicca and the Native American tradition) visit her site. Rowan has a good
deal of information about the Greek pantheon, as well.
I also have a picture of my good friend Bryce, whom I met over the Internet
a while back. That's his dog Einstein with him. Bryce and I met by chance.
He was home and bored because of a freak mid-spring snow plow accident
(don't ask), and we ran into each other chatting about Terry Brooks. He
was using an alias that an old friend of mine used, so I thought I knew
him. Well, I got to know him before long, but now we're good friends anyway.
(wink wink)
This little lady is Julie, codename The Chick. Why? I could tell you, but
then I'd have to kill you. (Yes, Bryce, I stole your joke.) As I understand
it, this picture is a little outdated. (Julie is the one on the right.
It isn't that outdated.) SOMEONE hasn't
given anyone a more recent picture. I'm not naming any names, but I think
you know who I'm talking about.
Last, but by no means least, is my friend Aaron. I met him through Bryce,
but even from the start he wasn't just "a friend of a friend." Aaron is
a cool guy who enjoys bad jokes almost as much as I do. He's one of the
few computer programmers I know that still knows how to talk to people.
(If only he could get over that poking habit.) Speaking of which...
